Frankfurt/New York - September 16, 2009 – GROUP Business Software AG, upon approval of the Supervisory Board, plans the acquisition of the Lotus 911 Inc, an American company. Lotus 911 was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Atlanta/GA. The company also has offices in Florida, Michigan and California.

The integration of the company into the GROUP will be completed by the end of this year.

Lotus 911 offers expert know-how, services and administration for all around IBM Lotus Software. Lotus 911 also specializes in the hosting of IBM Lotus environments. In addition to the increased presence in the US, the integration of Lotus 911 supports the expansion of the business area of GROUPLive, the cloud computing solution of GROUP.
