Check file attachments in iQ.Suite quarantine

iQ.Suite Tips & Tricks for Microsoft Exchange / SMTP

The iQ.Suite for Exchange/SMTP can copy emails into quarantine. In the past it was necessary to send the email message to a post box in order to check the file attachments. The following explains how file attachments can now be checked directly.

Step by Step:

  • If an email is saved into iQ.Suite Quarantine, the attachment information can be found on the first page of the quarantine item.

 

  • If the selected email has one or more attachments, it is possible to copy
    a marked attachment from the email into any index.

 

  • The folder is selected in the next step.

 

  • To open the saved file attachments, use the program associated with Windows. In order to use this easily with documents in, say, Microsoft Word, it is recommended that you operate the iQ.Suite Microsoft Management Console on a Windows workstation and run the quarantine from there.
