Mail-in accounts and quarantine access

In your Domino environment you operate functional email accounts (mail-in) which are shared by several users (e.g. hotline, shared account for newsletter, etc.).

In the case of user email accounts, only the owner of this email file can access quarantined emails which are sent to this address and have been quarantined by iQ.Suite. Since functional mail-in accounts do not have a real owner and/or a group uses this file and can therefore act as the owner, this access must be regulated as follows in the iQ.Suite.

Step by Step:

1. In the job in question, go to Advanced.
   1. "User-specific quarantine access" and
   2. "Clerk quarantine document access" must be activated.
   
   
2. A "Quarantine access for stand-ins" document must then be created.







Access to: The mail-in account is entered here

Access for: The group/person who is to gain access is entered here

"Karl Auer" as a member of the "Support" group can therefore now also view quarantined email for the "hotline" mail-in account.
