iQ.Suite Tips & Tricks for Microsoft Exchange / SMTP

Besides a centralized and automatic integration of user information from the Active Directory into outgoing emails, iQ.Suite Trailer also lets you use iQ.Suite job processing variables such as date and time.

Step by Step:

  • By default, it is possible to retrieve information from the Active Directory and integrate it into Trailer documents. This information refers to the email sender.

 

  • In addition, it is possible to use further iQ.Suite processing variables, which are also used for iQ.Suite notifications.

 

  • To use such a general variable in iQ.Suite Trailer, you need to enter the following:
    [VAR]Job::Name of the variable[/VAR]
    “Job::” refers to the namespace used, in this case the iQ.Suite job processing information.
  • For instance, to insert the date, enter:
    [VAR]Job::Dateonly[/VAR]
