Webcast Summary:
There is a lot of talk about "social" these days - social applications, social business, social media, social services and so on. This webinar uses a definition of "social" in the context of XPages, custom application development and IBM Lotus Domino/IBM XWork Server. It describes new social requirements, maps them to technologies and shows how the Extension Library helps you create powerful social solutions using XPages.

People are connected more than ever, blurring the line between business and private life. For example often employees have Twitter accounts that they use to tweet both private and business messages. Many employees use their private smartphones to access business applications and data. Furthermore, information is scattered more than ever, within enterprises and in public social networks, within on premise systems and on the cloud. The corporate
inbox is no longer only the mail inbox, new notifications also come in via Connections, Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc!

The Extension Library provides utilities that make integration of Social APIs really easy, including a new storage facility for OAuth application and consumer tokens. IBM Lotus Domino XPages is on the fast track to help make your applications social. Participate in this webinar to see the latest contributions to the Extension Library for Social Business. XPages is ready today, are you?

V Raja, Senior manager - Systems Engineer, GBS

Did you know there was an easier way to do this without exporting your data and save hours everyday? The data stays inside your Notes / Domino environment, which means any time you look at it again it is "real time" data!

Would you believe it if we told you that this native solution is so much easier to use than a spreadsheet and has all the capabilities that you need that your spreadsheet does not have? And no, just in case you're thinking, this is NOT Lotus Symphony. Come see for yourself and at the end of the 30 minutes, we will show you how you can try this for free on your own applications!

13 SEPTEMBER 2011: Email Productivity with FewClix

Speakers:
Ravin Carr, Director of Marketing, Synaptris

More

Webcast Summary:

Recent research on the usage of email in the enterprise reveals that helping users save time with their email is critical to enterprise productivity. The Radicati Group estimates that on average, corporate email users spend over 25% of their time with email, every day, (2009 data) and that current email volume is expected to double by 2013!

With users spending an average of 2 to 3 hours every day with email, even a small improvement that addresses its inefficiencies will impact enterprise productivity in a way that few other technologies can. For example, a mid-sized enterprise with 1,000 email users will save over $1 million annually as a result of an improvement of just 2% (10 minutes) in employee productivity!

Watch this webinar and find out how your Lotus Notes customers can save significant time and cost using FewClix, the new "email productivity" solution for Lotus Notes users, and how FewClix can help them achieve 100% ROI (not just results) in less than 30 days!

In this session we explore the compliance requirements of regulatory bodies such as NASD, the SEC, and FERC; and of laws such as HIPAA, SOX, and FRCP Rule 26 and dicuss how your IM is affected, and how you can easily meet all necessary compliance requirements.
