tomorrow's technology leaders. GBS College is a joint project between
GBS and IBM.
GROUP College Day will be the first day of Lotusphere and the goal is to give hundreds of college students a first-hand look at this exciting industry and the opportunities that are available to them. Students will be GBS's special guests at Lotusphere this year where they will be exposed to all that Lotusphere has to offer.
In addition, GBS has launched its first contest geared at college students. This will allow students to learn more about Lotus technology, expose them to Domino development and help them build an XPages web application. With prizes like t-shirts, gift cards and Apple iPads to be won as the students journey through the world of Lotus in the Exploring XPages Contest.

3. CeBIT 2011: Taking Lotus to the Cloud
"Work and Life with the Cloud", the CeBIT trade show has set the
keynote theme for 2011, to be made available to a wide professional
audience. As a matter of fact, cloud computing has long evolved from a
hype to a serious business segment.
This is what the Lotus experts from GBS plan to demonstrate in Hannover. Having laid a solid foundation with their strong commitment to the Lotus market and major investments in cloud services, GBS will showcase their products under the slogan “Taking Lotus to the Cloud” from 1 to 5 March 2011.
Booth B20 in Hall 2 is the place to go to see the latest developments for the Lotus market, with GROUP Live - the award-winning cloud computing platform for companies and software vendors - promising to be a special highlight in this context. To illustrate the platform’s versatility and efficiency, two business partners - forcont and solvito - will demonstrate their ERP and CRM solutions from the cloud.
A further highlight is the new GBS Transformer, a tool with which automated modernization and conversion of Lotus Domino applications to cloud-capable XPages applications seems like child’s play. A number of new options are also available in the field of messaging: Find out more about the latest possibilities with regards to email monitoring and email reporting and see how easy managing keys and certificates in the email world can be with iQ.Suite KeyManager. Furthermore, a topic-oriented pedestal will be available exclusively for banks and insurance companies.
