1. Most Successful CeBIT in Company History: Impressive Showing by GBS in Hannover

Bringing 250 visitors to the GBS booth, this year’s CeBIT with the motto "Bringing Lotus to the Cloud", turned out to be the most successful one in the history of GBS. At CeBIT, GBS showcased its entire range of corporate solutions - from GROUP Live and the new GBS Evolution Transformer to state-of-the-art email management and instant messaging solutions.

"Our strong presence at CeBIT, the new GBS booth, as well as a pedestal at the IBM booth, and the multitude of new and established solutions showcased under the umbrella of GBS, significantly contributed to our success at the trade fair", says Andreas Richter, Director Marketing Europe.

The visitors of the booth were mainly interested in GBS’ multiple award-winning Cloud Platform, which enthralled companies and software providers alike: Along with the great interest taken in Public Cloud technologies, Corporate Cloud especially attracted the attention of larger companies. There were also first requests regarding the Evolution Transformer, GBS’ solution for the modernisation and transformation of Lotus Domino applications into web and cloud-enabled XPages applications, which was showcased for the first time.

Another key topic were new messaging possibilities: Here, the focus was on iQ.Suite KeyManager, with which visitors learned about the straightforwardness of key and certificate management in the world of emails, as well as iQ.Suite WebCrypt in the Cloud. For the first time, interested visitors were also able to find out more about email encryption from the Cloud via the GROUP Live operated solution.

2. BLUG Meeting: Join GBS and Learn More About the Easy Way of Domino Modernisation

3. iQ.Suite 13.2 for LND and iQ.Suite 9.3 for MSX with Sophos License Check

As announced, we will launch two new releases, iQ.Suite 13.3 for Lotus Notes Domino and iQ.Suite 9.3 for MSX, in Summer 2011. Starting with these versions, we will integrate Sophos license check options. If your Sophos Anti-Virus Interface (SAVI) is used with iQ.Suite Watchdog, it checks whether your SAVI licence has been obtained from GBS as per agreement.

8. iQ.Suite tips and tricks for Lotus Domino: Reduction of emails to be checked

Central virus protection with iQ.Suite Watchdog implements comprehensive, server-based protection against electronic threats. In addition, the multi-level safety mechanisms of iQ.Suite Wall ensure the reliable protection against Spam messages.
