Constanze Zarth is New COO Europe at GBS
Frankfurt, Germany, 17 May2011 – GROUP Business Software AG (GBS) has appointed Constanze Zarth, previously head of the Cloud Computing unit, as Chief Operating Officer Europe with immediate effect. In this function, the 44-year-old business administration graduate will be in charge of the group's operative business in Europe, including the integration of PAVONE AG, recently acquired by GBS Enterprises. This acquisition is expected to deliver significant synergies as well as further growth opportunities in emerging markets such as cloud-based application delivery and Modernization of Lotus Domino Environments.
As COO Europe, Constanze Zarth's responsibilities now also include the Applications & Services unit with its solutions for Email Management, Instant Messaging, CRM, Workflow, Banking Processes and Compliance issues. In this context, she will continue to focus on solutions pushing the boundaries of existing applications and delivery scenarios for Business Applications. In this environment, the company's new GBS Transformer tool is set to position itself as a trend-setting solution.
