For the fourth time in a row, GBS Europa GmbH confirms its leading position in the ISG Provider Lens study "Cyber Security Solutions & Services", which supports IT executives in making the best possible use of their IT security budgets.

The evaluation states: "The provider classified as a leader has a highly attractive range of products and services as well as a strong and competitive market position and therefore fulfils all the requirements for successful market development. GBS is to be regarded as a strategic pioneer and opinion leader. In addition, the company warrants innovative strength and stability". Version 4.1 of the GBS Workflow Manager, which was released in mid-October, provides extended support for the designer in the modeling of business processes.
The following enhancements are now available according to the BPMN 2.0 language:
Besides the already supported task types, “send”, “receive”, “manual” and “script” can now be selected as task types
Added support for message endand scheduling events
For the designer, the inclusion of graphic analyses by means of introduced diagrams provides further options, such as “sort” and “define” of target addresses.
Furthermore, there are other options for the designer when including graphic analyses, such as “sort” and “define” of destination addresses. Also new is the possibility to define individual actions in the view columns.
You can find GBS Workflow Manager 4.1 at GBS in the download area.
GBS Workflow Manager is available on Docker Hub
The low-code development environment GBS Workflow Manager is now available on Docker Hub, a cloud-based portal where applications or services can be deployed as Docker Images.
Companies that have their own container infrastructure can obtain the Docker Image of GBS Workflow Manager directly from Docker Hub.
This has a number of advantages:
The installation and set-up effort is noticeably reduced
Updating to a new version of GBS Workflow Manager is made easier
Even if the data model is extended, the GBS Workflow Manager updates it independently in an older environment
It provides an easy entry into workflow management, especially for companies that decide to map a specific business process electronically
The GBS Workflow Manager is immediately available with the full functionality after starting the Docker Container
The limit on the number of business processes and users can be easily removed by adding a license key
GBS Retirement Manager with advanced validation of generated PDF/A files
GBS Retirement Manager 3.3, the software for revision-safe archiving or porting of HCL Domino documents, has been released and now offers advanced validation of the generated PDF/A files. The two-step process for converting HCL Domino documents into PDF/A files remains unchanged.
For both steps, independent tools from different vendors are used to ensure that the PDF/A files really are compliant with the standard. This means that the files created can be transferred to Microsoft SharePoint On-Premise or Microsoft 365 via the integrated interface. Alternatively, verified compliance ensures that the files can be easily integrated into other document management systems. more >>

Each EU GDPR process has its own and a cross-process dashboard. The analyses contained in it can be easily adapted and extended to the company-specific needs thanks to integratedlow-code tools.

The DevOps market is growing and growing
Ever since DevOps emerged as a trend at the beginning of the last decade, it became clear that development and IT operations teams should know their “line of responsibility”. According to Grand View Research, the DevOps market is growing steadily from around $ 850 million in 2014 at around 20% per year.
Given these numbers, it is of crucial importance for small and medium-sized companies to not only view the DevOps path as a cultural matter, but also to have specialists who are responsible for integrating DevOps practices into organizational units, structures and, above all, in the mindsets.
