SSLv3 –Poodle Vulnerability

A Poodle attack can decipher almost all encrypted internet connections and disable SSLv3 encryption. This way, attackers are able to hijack the session cookie and consequently the accounts of the users. It’s time to get rid of this outdated version, both in terms of the browser, as well as the server. For the protection of internet encryption, protocol version SSLv3 must be shut down and replaced by TLS.

GBS provides iQ.Suite for Microsoft Exchange/SMTP and iQ.Suite KeyManager versions, with the necessary configuration for the use of TLS instead of SSL. Poodle vulnerability has been eliminated for the following product versions:

iQ.Suite for Microsoft Exchange/SMTP and iQ.Suite WebClient for Exchange/SMTP: 12.1.8; version 13.1 and newer

iQ.Suite KeyManager: 3.5.5, 4.0.1; version 4.1 and newer

iQ.Suite WebClient for IBM Domino: The Poodle vulnerability must also be addressed on the Domino web server. For this purpose, IBM has released Interim Fix-Packs for the following Domino versions: 8.5.1 - 9.0.1.
