GBS Workflow Manager 2.6 with new functions in Application Lifecycle Management
The new release 2.6 of theGBS Workflow Manager Server provides new capabilities in the application lifecycle management. With the newly added features it is easier to support the designed low-code applications in a multiple server environment. GBS Workflow Manager is a tool that allows the creation of powerful business process applications without specific programming skills. Usually, an already designed application has to be developed and tested before it can be used in production. Each of these stages requires an own server environment. Because of this, the application design has to be published on each server. Especially at a later stage of the development, only a few changes are made. Application designers can now decide which design element should be published, e. g. exported and imported, on another server. This will increase their productivity and improve the performance of the application updates delivery.
Besides this, application designers can also add common lists which integrate documents based on a workflow or only on a form. Furthermore, there are newly updated features such as filtering and sorting of documents in a list. In the area of business processes, escalation notifications can also be created for starting and ending events, which therefore allows, for example, to notify specified users via an email about the start or the completion of a workflow.
The latest version of the GBS Workflow Manager Server can be downloaded from the download page.
