GBS releases iQ.Suite 360 - modern Cloud solution for protection of collaboration and communication platforms

GBS releases iQ.Suite 360 - modern Cloud solution for protection of collaboration and communication platforms

With iQ.Suite 360, GBS releases a Cloud solution for the central protection of collaboration and communication platforms.

As a result of the shift towards modern collaboration and meeting tools, more and more channels move to the cloud and  IT environments are getting increasingly complex. This leads to the emerging of additional gateways and attack vectors. Protection of collaboration and meeting tools against malicious files that enter the company via SharePoint or Messenger, for example, is often neglected.Available as Cloud service, iQ.Suite 360 closes this gap and protects the communication and collaboration technology against dynamic, always evolving threats. iQ.Suite 360 is the right solution for both enterprise and small environments. more >>

iQ.Suite 360 Threat Protection for SharePoint is the first service from iQ.Suite 360. It enables companies to protect their SharePoint environment from malware in a compliant way.

By using multiple scan engines from well-known premium vendors, iQ.Suite Threat Protection for SharePoint offers effective multi-level protection against malware as well as the option for time-controlled scanning of the entire SharePoint environment outside of working hours. more >>

GBS offers free 30-minute webinars and provides information on how companies can use iQ.Suite 360 to easily and effectively implement the centralized protection of collaboration and communication platforms.

Release of the new iQ.Suite versions in June

Release of the new iQ.Suite versions in June

In June we plan the new main releases of the email management platform iQ.Suite 19.0 for Microsoft Exchange/SMTP/Office 365 and iQ.Suite 23.0 for HCL Domino.

Expect the following innovations for both platforms:

iQ.Suite WebCrypt: The WebCrypt SMTP interface is supported with a new job, since the support for the previous WebCrypt SOAP interface has been discontinued by our partner SEPPmail

iQ.Suite Convert: the new main releases allow not only the use of one fixed password, but also variable passwords for compression and decompression

The following changes apply to Microsoft Exchange/SMTP

iQ.Suite Wall: DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) authentication method that is used to prevent spam and can detect whether the sender address is valid (DKIM Create Job and DKIM Validate Job)

EWS (Exchange Web Services) extensions

Scanning of PublicFolders (DatabaseScan) in newer exchange servers 2013/2016/2019

New user-defined actions: e.g. а discontinuation at a certain point in a job chain is possible, as well as user-defined actions, in order to react to certain return codes from scan engines

iQ.Suite Crypt: For internal encryption, the e-mails in the Sent Item Folder can also be encrypted

iQ.Suite Trailer: It is now possible to specify other databases with detailed information using alternative Trailer AD DataSource extensions

Multi-Tenant Edition: The DLP module and Global Summaries are now also available in the Multi-Tenant Edition. Trailer policies are now applicable not only to tenants, but also in the master configuration

WebClient: Support of shared mailboxes in quarantine access

We offer the following modifications for HCL Domino:

iQ.Suite PDFCrypt: Use of the password database in WebClient

iQ.Suite Trailer: New results field for Trailer analysis results

iQ.Suite Wall: Now not only Wall Action Mail Job, but also Wall Action Database Job

iQ.Suite internal Sandboxes: Reduced number of sandbox containers from converters and sandboxes

General: New address resolution with full LMBCS support

The new versions of the e-mail management solution iQ.Suite will be available in June in the GBS download area

GBS Consulting supports the installation of the "Multi-Tenant Edition" of iQ.Suite. Our sales team looks forward to your email at: sales@gbs.com.

GBS Workflow Manager 4.0 - New main release coming this summer

GBS Workflow Manager 4.0 - New main release coming this summer

The next release 4.0 of GBS Workflow Manager will provide a few extensions.

This makes it much easier for the designer of workflows and business applications to integrate meaningful business graphics.

It provides the following advantages

Each form can be enriched with visual charts, such as line, column, bar, doughnut, bubble, area diagrams, etc.

The creation of dashboards based on forms is simplified

Additional elements of the graphical specification language for workflow modeling BPMN 2.0 are supported.

For the administrator, the new release provides installation support based on a Docker container. This simplifies the installation and updating to a new version of the GBS Workflow Manager even more. Due to the typical separation of the Workflow Manager Server and the data management, only the container image has to be exchanged with the Workflow Manager Server.

GBS Workflow Manager 4.0 will be released in July and will be available in the download area.
