GBS announces New Mobile Apps for Spam Protection and provides Mobile access to Business Applications

Woodstock, GA

GBS (GROUP Business Software) announced significant new mobile capabilities for the iQ.Suite platform, GBS’ flagship Email Management and Security solution.

Spam protection for the mobile platform is a key feature of the GBS iQ.Suite email management solution. Now users will be able to access their Spam Quarantine functionality via any mobile device from any location.

Users can also add contacts to their personal blacklists or whitelists, or simply have them re-sent from their quarantine. In the past, this was only possible via the iQ.Suite desktop application.

GBS AppDesigner, which allows non-technical users to create Web applications easily and intuitively, will also go mobile. Users can now access apps they created on their desktops directly via their mobile devices. “Business processes in modern corporations are becoming increasingly mobile, and software solutions must meet this requirement,” says Constanze Zarth, COO, GBS.

The new functionality expands the uses of applications created with GBS AppDesigner, and it allows deployment of these apps on smartphones and tablets with no additional development. Users can access applications via an active network connection or offline.

Both apps will soon be available for iOS and Android platforms.
