All clear! OEM technology not affected by Avira‘s change of strategy!
Avira is ending its Business Security offer on December 31, 2021 and would focus primarily on OEM technologies in the future.
The OEM products SAVAPI, File Unpacker and also the Avira Protection Cloud technology (APC) included in the E-Mail-Management solution iQ.Suite, are in no way affected by Avira's change of strategy.
The secure anti-virus API (SAVAPI), which integrates the Avira Cloud Security, will continue to protect your company against various malware such as Trojans, worms, rootkits, viruses, spyware, adware and macro viruses. And File Unpacker will keep enabling you to effectively decompress and unpack files that may contain malware.
The successful partnership between GBS and Avira and therefore the validity of the license remains unchanged. You can continue to rely on comprehensive as well as cloud-based protection of your email infrastructure. We look forward to our further successful cooperation.
