New iQ.Suite versions with comprehensive protection for PDF files
The new versions of the email management solution iQ.Suite are now available. iQ.Suite 16.2 for Microsoft Exchange/SMTP and Office 365, as well as iQ.Suite 20.2 for IBM Domino/Verse offer numerous innovations, focusing primarily on PDF security. Look forward to the following highlights and further improvements:
New in iQ.Suite PDFCrypt: PDF attachments can now be signed prior to sending and existing signatures can be verified. This is done seamlessly, in interplay with KeyManager, iQ.Suite’s centralized key and certificate management system. Thanks to the new features, subsequent modifications to PDF files are detected and the sender’s identity is verified, improving the handling of digitally signed documents, such as invoices. With PDFCrypt, emails can be converted not only to encrypted PDF files, but existing PDF files may also be encrypted before sending. The mandatory passwords are easy to manage with PDFCrypt. The use of PDF contents can be controlled via document restrictions, preventing printing, copying, inserting of comments or editing of contents.
New in iQ.Suite Connect: The solution enables automatic filing of email attachments in collaboration systems. The new version also supports filing in SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online.
Most recently, we were able to demonstrate the reliability and confidentiality of our security solutions. In their recently published study “Provider Lens Germany 2018 – Security Services & Solutions,” ISG analysts rated GBS as one of the leading providers of security solutions.
During the research process, which spanned several months, ISG examined more than 100 relevant security providers. iQ.Suite, which is available for Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and IBM Domino Verse received high ratings in the Data Leakage Prevention category. The ISG analysts were not only impressed by the 4-eyes review and recognition of sensitive content in email texts and attachments, but also the analysis of irregular behavior in email correspondence offered by the email management solution “Made in Germany.” For more information, please refer to our press release.

Automatic distribution of an iQ.Suite License in a multi-server environment
Until now, an iQ.Suite License could only be replaced in a multi-serve environment via a master-slave process.
However, in addition to automatically synchronizing configurations, iQ.Suite Version 16 now has the option of automatic transfers for the iQ.Suite License to additional iQ.Suite servers. This provides the particular advantage of no longer having to copy the license to each server. more >>
