GBS donates Thermal Mugs to the German Child Protection Association
The German Child Protection Association acts as a lobby for children, standing up for the interests of young people and their families. Its wide range of services focuses on providing confidential advice and support to children and young people with difficult family situations, with the aim of giving them a more optimistic future. The German Child Protection Association is therefore an essential point of contact and has a key role representing the interests of children and young people.
The charity has been active in Karlsruhe for 50 years now, with more than 230 local volunteers currently working within the various divisions of the charity to provide practical support and advice as well as a broad care service for families. GROUP Business Software AG (GBS), which also has a branch in Karlsruhe, has acknowledged this tremendous commitment with a donation, in which Andreas Richter, VP Marketing Europe at GBS, presented 130 thermal mugs to Renate Gissel, Managing Director of the local branch of the German Child Protection Association for the town and district of Karlsruhe.
"With this donation, we are pursuing our corporate commitment to the important child protection work carried out in Karlsruhe, where our company office is located", explains Andreas Richter. Renate Gissel expresses her complete satisfaction with this accomplishment: "We are extremely grateful for this donation in kind and extend our warmest thanks to GROUP Business Software AG." The GBS thermal mugs will be used as prizes for the Child Protection Association's "wheel of fortune" event. This wheel of fortune is used at various regional events, with a win guaranteed every time.
