GBS Project Management 11: Project planning, control and monitoring even more simplified

Paderborn, 30 January 2013 – With GBS Project Management 11, GROUP Business Software AG (GBS) has now released the official successor of the established project management solution PAVONE to the German market. With a multitude of new functions, this new release makes all processes involving the planning, control and monitoring of projects even more efficient.

Using individual templates, users are able to significantly simplify the delegation of their activities of project processes with GBS Project Management 11. At the same time, the extended management of capacities facilitates the control of resources. The solution now also allows for the integrated planning of multi-projects using Gant tcharts, into which even projects from Microsoft Project can be easily imported. An optimised meeting report with integrated activities, as well as an intuitive report of actuals-data additionally round off the solution for professional project management.

"We are pleased to not only have further developed GBS Project Management 11, but also to promote the integration with other GBS solutions“, explains Dr. Rolf Kremer, Vice President Research & Development Europe at GBS. Thus, the new version includes GBS Document Categorizer and GBS Organization Modeler, which were previously sold separately. With this, users can quickly and easily store documents and activities using drag & drop and create visual models of corporate and project structures. “We also integrated GBS IntelliPRINT into our project management solution for central reporting.” With the solution from GBS’ portfolio, users are now able to create efficient reports and individual dashboards. As a result, the customer is able to take advantage of easily integrated project controlling,” stresses Dr. Rolf Kremer and highlights the added value.

Thanks to the market launch, GBS offers a price reduction of 50 percent on licenses for GBS Project Management 11 to all newcomers until CeBIT 2013. Special prices on user training for the solution will also be offered until the end of the world’s largest ICT fair on 9 March 2013 in Hannover, Germany.
